Happy Chinese New Year from ADELAIDE!

Hey Y'all!! How are u guys celebrating CNY back there??

I am still having class eventhough its the first day of CNY! Fortunately, today is the last day of lecture and also the last day of school but i will be having test on Monday and final exam on the following week... Oh well...life's like that! Haha...

Anyway, we had a lil celebration yesterday at Zhu Lin's Buddhist Temple!
We went there at ard 8pm by the temple's van.

The weather yesterday was freaking COLD! It was only around 15 degree at night and the wind is so strong that it can easily break an umbrella!

We went there to do some voluntary work...the girls (Sook Mun, Ying Loo and I) became the person in charge of "crowd control"! At first we were wondering....crowd control?? coz there wasnt much ppl at that time. But later at night..the temple was flooded with people! ahahha... We hafta stand there in the cold and control the crowd...we barely did anything cause we were too cold and too tired! ^^

However the guys (Silas, Kien Seng, Henry and Cheng Haw)...is incharge of security. They hafta control the traffic in the car park and poor them coz that place is even colder...and very dark too.

As the weather was so freaking cold...it somehow makes us feel as if we were in Beijing?/ haha....and we forgotten all about summer too! haha...

The performance started ard 10.30pm after the chanting...then, there were lion dance and dragon dance...which was kinda crappy! hahah....

And at 12am, we had fireworks... then we went and do prayers...and after that went home and arrived only at 2am! We were all froze up, tired and hungry by then coz we had our dinner very early; around 4plus...

Actually i wanted to call back to grandma house at 2.30am to wish all of u but i couldnt stand it already...i hafta go to bed and have my beauty sleep coz i have class today! Irritating!!

Eventhough nothing was as good as it was back there, but at least the temple makes us feel more like it was CNY!

Tonight we will be having a small gathering at Cheng Haw's place and each of us will cook something! We will be cooking fried rice and Tang Yuan! hehe...

Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to u ALL!

Hey there cousins!! the year of the RAT is finally here! oooooo new year for everyone=)

anyway as u all know im spending CNY in Spore this year and it's the very first one! ehehe

obviously it's not tt fun BUT! it wasnt tt bad after all

okie let me start with what i did:

i woke up at like 8.30 for the dreadful dreadful finance tutorial at 10am! classes on CNY eve is not cool

after class i went for some last minute shopping but didnt manage to get any clothes though=P
everywhere was packed with pple pple n more pple.

the worst thing was i queued for 15 mins for korean food n when it's finally my turn! she told me sorry no more rice..arghhh how can i have bimbimbab w/o rice! fuming with anger but since it was eve i shall let the matter rest

yes...after tt it was home for me..and then dinner
we had Steamboat at the "new" home! wooohhooo!

it was the 3 of us: dad mom n me plus 2 of my dad's china employee
poor things, cant go back for reunion with their family so we ask them to join us

after dinner we just watched tv, clean up the place a little and we took lots of photos!

anyway i miss u, cousins in malaysia, adelaide n US! ahhh
those were the days....when we could all spend it tgt at ahjia's house..gossiping, hide n seek etc...

Hello! I am in the computer lab again. Having class today, tmr and also the first day of CNY!
THAT IS SO SICKENING!

So if u can, just try and stay away from ADELAIDE! Not a good place to be in....not even for hols!

U can just go to ALL the tourists attractions in A DAY!

And i tell u what...their tourists attractions here is all those historical places like museums...aboriginal art gallery...wildlife park...strawberry farm...n bla bla bla...

I think the best place to go is the beach!

Oh...and the shopping street here is nothing like KL!!! ok?? I think is not even 20%of Sunway Pyramid!
So Shitty!!!

Hey guys! I am now in the computer lab.....having break now. I will be having calculations tutorial later and then can go home already! WEEEEEHOOOOOO~~~

Tommorow will be the australia's day celebration in the city which is very very the near my place. There will be parades....shows...concerts....i think... hahah...

So most probably we will go and have a look at it tmr too.

Monday will be a public holiday here coz its austalia Day! so no school! But we willbe having calculation's test on tuesday! Haih...

Anyway, hope that u guys in Malaysia are doin fine there! do take care and i will keep u all updated whenever i can !

Hello everyone..
It has been such a long time since I posted here..

It is 8.25pm now but the day is still sunny and bright..

Well, first of all, Adelaide is a city of festival and a city of... hmm, on second thought, I think I shall just stop at festival.. haha.

Today will be my 8th day in Adelaide and within this eight days, I have already had my name changed twice. The first one was 'the oh-so-lovely DING LING LOO' and the second one was 'the wow-so-wonderful DING LOO'.
The bank got my name wrong twice, TWICE!!
The lady named Sharon was really nice, she apologized many times and I said "No worries" many times, but actually, i'm quite worried inside because I have a strong feeling that my third card will be LING LING LOO..
But anyway, Ying Fei and her friends got their cards today and as for me, I have to wait for another 5 more days..

I have not been sleeping well for these past seven days either because i'm dead worried that my name will turn into Ling Ling Loo, haha, no i'm just kidding.
It is actually because of the weather. The weather here is really crazy. It might be 41 Celcius today and 20 Celcius the next day.

I am hoping that I will get a new place soon..

Okay, I'm going off now..

Hey everyone. I am already in adelaide!

I am feeling better now already.

Things were bad here when i first arrived.

I couldnt get used to the environment, surroundings and the weather here.

I think it was because of the house that i am temporarily stayin in (my sis friend's hse).

It is full of spider webs...spiders everywhere....toilets...kitchen...around the refrigerator, cockroaches, and its super duperly dusty. I got wheezing, flu and cough the very first day and til now still having sore throat and slight wheezing.

Today we attempted to wash our clothes with washing machine. And the bloody washing machine is already in bad condition. It took us freaking TWO HOURS for the water level to fill up...

We actually chose to wash today cz it was 41degrees. But that stupid washing machine spoil our plan cz by the time our clothes finish washing, the sun was already setting.

And when we removed the clothes from the machine, sum of it still haf detergent on it. So we hafta do a second job and hand wash it. DAMN IT!

Because of this....we hafta dry all of our clothes with a pathetic stand fan.

Today was the second time we cook dinner at home. Today we had fried rice, chicken soup and vege. On the first day we had Bak Kut Teh. They were not bad. Filling and satisfying.

Tmr, Sat and Sun wil be only 15-26 degress. So it will be kinda cooling and we will be lookign for accomodation tmr.

Please pray for us that we will get one soon,, k?

I dun wanna stay in this bloody place anymore!
